My beautiful time in London by Merle
A few days ago, I came back from a trip to London with my class. It was a long ride across a lot of countries like the Netherlands, Belgium and France. Then, finally, we were in London.
We drove over to our hostel called the “Astor Victoria Hostel” and moved in. We formed some groups and started to visit the sights next to our hotel. At first, we walked to the Buckingham Palace. The guards walked behind the gate, in front of the palace. They were wearing a red and black coloured uniform and a big hat. It was really interesting to see the whole view. You should visit the Buckingham Palace as well! My second favourite sight was the Big Ben. I always thought that the whole building was called the “Big Ben” but just the bell is called like that; the tower is called the Elizabeth Tower. Our teachers explained a lot of such interesting facts. My third favourite trip was the boat trip. We drove across the river Thames. I took a picture of the Tower Bridge.
If you want to visit London too, then you should do the trips. They were really cool and interesting. Now I can imagine, how big the London Eye really is. All in all I would recommend to visit the city because it is way different to see all of the sights in real life compared to pictures.
My trip to London by Aaliyah
A few days ago, I was with my classmates in London for a week. It was my first time in London and let’s say it was an interesting trip. One of the best things on this trip was the London Dungeon. It was amazing. I can only recommend everyone who goes to London to go to the dungeon. We also visited some very nice sights. Among other things, we watched the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace and took photos in front of the Big Ben. On Wednesday, we took a boat on the Thames to the Greenwich Observatory. In addition, my friends and I went to different restaurants almost every day and almost always ate burgers.
On the last day we went to the Natural History Museum and then to a French burger restaurant. That was the best restaurant I was in in whole London. Unfortunately, I don’t know the name anymore. Of course, there were also things that weren’t so great like people were very rude or you had to wait a very long time for your food in some restaurants, but with my friends the stupid things didn’t bother me. But the best thing was that we sang together with a street singer. It was a lot of fun. Overall, you can say that you can see many sights in London, some people are very rude but everything is better with friends.

London is a big city, the capital of the United Kingdom. It’s a diverse city with history, landmarks and global, cultural and financial status. With sights like the Tower of London, the British Museum, London Eye, Big Ben and more.
The London trip was a cool experience, it was exhausting, but also exciting to see new things.
There were nice moments but also bad moments. One of the best things of the London Trip was the London Dungeon. It was a little bit crazy, oftentimes funny and we learned a lot about the history of London. The Natural History Museum was also beautiful. There was a large stone collection, a lot of information and types of animals. Furthermore, the boat tour was a special moment for me. Apart from the sights, the new friendships were beautiful, you get to know other sides of people. Nevertheless, there were bad things. The hostel was not so nice. London was also really expensive and the people in London were hectic.
I think everyone should go to London themselves and make up their own opinion of London. For many, it is a highlight and you get to know a lot of new things. From my experience, it was nice, because I could not do this again.

Going Abroad – Our Class Trip to London
London – a city you need to see by Jakob
London is one of the oldest cities in Europe, and you need to see it. The downtown is amazing and absolutely beautiful.
One „must-have“ is the London Dungeon, which is located on the shore of the Thames next to Big Ben. It’s like a scary trip through the history of the city. Our topic was serial killers (Jack the Ripper, etc.), and it was so cool and exciting.
Also, the food (I mean the non-British food) was awesome. We went to Jonny Loves Pizza, where you can buy Nutella Pizza; it tasted so good. The burgers from Shake Shack were the same. I was so excited because there aren’t branches in Germany, and it’s difficult to get Nutella pizza here.
Another nice place is the Natural History Museum in Kensington, one of the noble boroughs of London. You can see different things, like the skeleton of a huge dinosaur and other stuffed animals.
To sum up, I’d recommend visiting the city. Of course, it’s expensive, but I think the money is worth it. Have fun!
Why you should go to London by Nikola
London is a beautiful city; you can visit lots of sightseeing attractions. My experiences in London were nice. We had lots of free time, so we could go everywhere on our own and go shopping. It’s a very cool experience to see how the people there are, to get to know their culture and they are very friendly. One time, an older man asked us if we spoke German because he heard us talking, and then we talked with the man for a longer time. In London, we were in the Dungeon, and it was really scary but funny. Another experience was seeing Big Ben in real life, and it was beautiful. We drove with a boat over the Thames and saw the Tower Bridge.
My travel to London was very exciting and interesting, and it was a great experience for me. I can recommend to everybody to visit London at least once in their life.

My vacation to London was really nice. I always wanted to see Big Ben and the London Eye, especially because I only knew them from English lessons. For everyone who feels the same, I recommend going there. My personal highlights were seeing Big Ben and the London Eye in real life. They have a more golden shine than in the pictures. I was also at the Dungeon there; they show the stories of Guy Fawkes, who was responsible for the failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605, Jack the Ripper, who was a serial killer in 1888 and is still unidentified, and Sweeney Todd, who is a fictional serial killer from 1847. I also went to a nature museum, and my favourite thing there was all the crystals. In all, London is a really great city to visit. You can go shopping, learn about the history, or even, if you are lucky, see the King.

Would you rather visit the Eiffel Tower or the London Eye? This and other sights are perfect spots for tourists. Is London good for students or not? About this questions I would like to talk and give some interesting points you have to see.
In London you can do many interesting things or visit sights. An example is the Big Ben. You can learn many things about the tower and the bell inside. Also, the London Eye is very cool, because you can see the whole city. The sights are only the first part of London. The food ist the second part of this big city, My favourite restaurant for the week was Shake Shack. This is a burger restaurant which is better than McDonalds. The second restaurant was Jonny loves Pizza (JLP), a pizzeria in the middle of London.
But there are many educational offerings like the Natural History Museum where we found many things about the ocean and the animals. Also, we found some skeletons of dinosaurs and learned more about their lives and their habitat. The way to the observatory in Greenwich was over the water. We went by boat over the Thames. This was very cool. All in all I can say that the trip was very cool because you can learn many new things. For students this is very interesting, especially the museum.
